It is imperative that we buy a striker after that performance last night. Worst I have seen in many a year. Juanma and sammon were shocking. Not once during the game did they even look like linking up. Movement and positioning was brutal. The only defence that I could offer is the ammunition supplied to them was also very poor. Far to many negative passes and far to slow in progressing up the field.

I would go one further and say we need a better partner in defence for Ozturk as Souter in my book is too inexperienced at the moment. We need a creative midfielder and our strikers are a joke there is no pace and no vision. I questioned the decision to sign Sammon I think he is immobile and lacks the killer instinct because he is so slow. I also disagree with comments about first game of the season etc they are allegedly professionals footballers paid handsomely and that performance was inexcusable. I wish Levein would stop interfering in team affairs and leave Robbie to do his job. Let's get some decent scouts as well.

At least we have rossi to slot into the centre of the defence. I just don't see where the goals are going to come from.

Although they all have individual faults to their game Nicholson/ Walker/ King do know each others game inside out through playing together from youth level onwards. Get all three on the pitch in a 4/ 2/ 3/ 1 and let them attack rather than being stifled with defensive duties. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, as they say.
We are unneccesarily boring to watch due to the timid nature of RN/ CL, all imho.
