Saw Cathro has ruled out a move for McGregor. Probably wages I assume. Who else we linked with for the number 1 jersey? Would personally take Scott Bain from Dundee, always rated him highly.

What is happening? We, to me anyway, seem to be lacking in terms of signings, new contracts etc. We were told we are signing quality over quantity. Look at Dundee bringing in Scott Allan. Great signing this is the type of player we need. Yes, people have their different opinions as he played for Hibs but he is a player who likes to get on the ball and create. Greg Stewart. Another player we've been linked with. Why not go with Scottish talent who have previously proved themselves here rather than foreign players who don't speak English, don't understand what it takes and needs to play for Hearts and ones who ain't even decent and are on hefty wages. Baffles me. Hope we bring in players who are actually good enough instead of the 8 or 9 we signed over January who were useless.

I have no reason to believe we were interested in Scott Allan.
To sign Greg Stewart on loan, Brum would have to pay a huge percentage of his wages. To sign him permanently would cost a transfer fee which we could probably ill afford and Stewart would have to take a massive pay cut. Same would happen if we tried to sign Messi or Ronaldo.

I agree. Lost many players and have shown no ambition whatsoever to rebuild our team. Just as bad as it was mid to end of last season- if not worse (as we hardly have any players)

A lot of players are contracted with their clubs until the end of June, on holiday or international duty.

Hearing the Manchester City full backs loan offer has been accepted. Would be a good signing in my opinion and with other offers from down south, I can see the factor of City wanting to develop him physically in terms of the Scottish game. The longer the Lafferty stories go on, the less chance I see of him signing. Here's hoping though.
