So who will leave hearts prior to the end of the transfer window?

Malaury Martin? - surely!
Ross Callaghan? - not playing
Liam smith? - plenty of options in his position
Kyle Lafferty? - rumours won't go away
Andy Irvine - to much competition perhaps a loan deal.

Hopefully Callum Morrison has given Levein seconds thoughts about signing a further winger. Looked very impressive against Cowdenbeath.

Heard RC is going to look for a new club, shame as he’s the only man who plays for the top. apart from Super Uche!

2.) 01 Aug 2018 18:08:14
Cowie and Callaghan told they can find new clubs, Moore, Irvine and Henderson loaned out, Lafferty likely to go in the next week, can’t say in disappointed about any of this. Would expect zanatta and a few more to head out on loan but squad is looking strong, young lads getting experience and dead wood is getting set adrift.

Currie now gone on loan too, hopefully he gets a few goals and comes back ready to challenge.

After a meeting with Levein, Scott Fraser has rejected hearts and is deciding between burton and Bolton.

Disappointed as I feel he is the type of player we don't have in the squad, someone very good technically capable to providing the killer passes.

Heard from Dundee united fan today that Bjorn Johnsen was at Tannidice for loan talks today. No idea if it's true, seems unlikely to me as I think he would get better offers abroad but that's the rumour.

Also read today that st Johnston are looking at Sammon.

Be glad to see them both go although I feel another manager would get more out of both players.

I'm not a Cathro out man, and I really like all players we have bought in this summer but having watched the east fife game I do have concerns for the season ahead. 2 passes to get to a wide man instead of one 30 yard straight forward pass, also noticed far to many passes behind players causing them to come back. At amateur level you get told to play the ball infront to allow the player to come onto. Smith would have terrorised their full back with all the room he had with more but instead had to come back to collect the ball and then passed it back inside as the space was gone. It's pre season but I still expected better, simple things that lift the tempo and allow us to get in behind teams before they get the numbers back.

The quality of the EF game was reduced due to the horrific conditions, I was watching it on Hearts TV in Greece (so the connection was awful) but the prominent sound was the torrential rain.

I've read (a while back) English clubs were interested in Bjorn but nothing's come of it. which is a shame.

Heard about Sammon too, I think it will happen for sure.

Don't worry yet, plenty of time for some more quality signings!

Yiou think Sammon will happen for sure.
Have they not agreed terms with Myles Storey of Aberdeen?

Heard today that hearts have offered a contract to Celtic winger Paul McMillan who was on loan at dunfermline last season. Apparently a good offer but he is taking some time to consider it, which doesn't sound promising.

Also heard that we spoke with Raith defender mvoto but he chose dunfermline instead and that two weeks ago cathro personally flew out to Portugal to discuss a loan with Ryan Gauld and his representatives but unclear how that went, prob not very good if he hasn't signed already.

Paper talk of hearts in for Berra and marc mcnulty. I think both would be great additions to the team with good pedigree. Exactly the sort of players I want us to sign so hopefully get them both.

Which tabloid is this in as i've only see the berra news nothing about marc mcnulty.

2.) 10 May 2017 16:44:17
Scotsman, says hearts and hibs have enquiried and quotes him as saying he's interested. Free agent now so don't see why we should wait just get him signed.

Would love to see some wide attacking players now brought in, someone like GMS hopefully, maybe a loan deal.

3.) 10 May 2017 21:33:53
McNulty is a one in four scorer in lower leagues, don't count Livingston career, not inspiring for me.

4.) 10 May 2017 21:53:34
Mcnulty won't join us he's a celtic fan he hates hearts portsmouth are keen on signing him after him impressing while on loan there.

5.) 19 May 2017 10:02:20
Marc has joined Coventry City so transfer for him.

I use to post a lot but haven't for while due to all the nonsense posts however I feel I have to say my opinion about current matters.

To the guy who posted he would not renew his season ticket as the administrator is working on behalf of Romanov. What a load of rubbish, all the Lithuanian directors are gone, including Roman Romanov and the club can now be managed properly and hopefully sold, however the fans need to pull together and buy season tickets to give him a fighting chance.

To the rest of rubbish posts, McHattie, Holt, Walker, Paterson, Tapping, Robinson, McGowan and Smith are the future of this club. Great prospects who have all done there bit in a tough season. All these players are capable of doing well and moving on to a higher standard and hopefully bringing in a big fee at the same time. That's the only long term way this club will survive! (Same as every club in the country outside the old firm).

Now to the persons who have slagged Stevenson, McHattie, McDonald and more. Are you mad. Stevenson although has not played to the standard he did previously he has worked hard and should be appreciated. Maybe its more down to the circumstances and change in personnel around him rather than him being poor. The cup final was evident of how hard he works and his love of this club. McDonald has been loyal to this club and yes is not a Gordon, Niemi or Kello he is decent and learning and i'm glad to have him. I still believe he will be great asset t the club. McHattie was thrust into the first team and has shown remarkable improvements and a defo a star of the future.

Major respect to Stevenson and McDonald for taking a wage cut too, Hearts men who need to stay for the fight. The ONLY player who I would be glad to the back of is Sutton as he has not shown anything to merit his wages the rest of the boy left need to stay. As does Locke and Murray. Hearts men who know what is best for the club.

Lets show our team and the world what makes a Hearts fan, the loyalty and passion and get behind the team. the end.

To be fair to the guy getting mixed up about the role of the administrators he's likely confused after witnessing the tactics employed by Duff & Phelps over at Ibrox.

Speaking of Ibrox and the new club who play there it's heartening to see the response of Jambos who are showing none of the paranoid 'kicking us when we're down' victim mentality of that lot. And I used to think it was their rivals who were the paranoid ones.

No matter what happens let's see this through with dignity.

2.) Agree Robo and No2, time for all to get behind Stevo and Co and dig deep to see the Club, without the whinge, through until its sold on to new owners or hopefully us the fans through FOH.

Agree re bozanic, I was hoping that he was one of the ones to leave this season with Charlie Adam coming in instead. Too late now but Adam is exactly what we need along with a natural finisher. I think Washington will be good but needs someone else up top with him. Replace zlamal with a good keeper and I’ll be happy with the squad for the season ahead. Personally I’m happy to give Levein one more season but I understand why fans aren’t happy.

Granted that was a poor performance but I think there has been a complete over reaction. We did well against Utd and Cowdenbeath, created lots and played at a tempo. It was one game, which we still one. Confident things will come good. Levein is just a punch bag for some fans.

Every premier league teams had ropey results, it’s early days and the squad is being rotated.

200k is a ridiculous offer and just an attempt to unsettle the player. Personally I think if we get a good offer we should accept it. Lafferty has been good but inconsistent for us and prob not the striker levein wants for the future. Money can go towards bringing vanecek in during this window.
